We welcome attendees to bring their existing website, content, theme, and worries to work at a pace more aligned with their level of Wordpress experience. As a bonus, attendees will be going home with their own subdomain instead of a multi-site which can easily be transferred to their own domain.

Future New Orleans web designers, electrical engineers, and game developers gathered at Delgado Community College for the 5th annual Teen Tech Day on Saturday March 4th 2015. Teen Tech Day is a day-long event hosted by New Orleans Tech for local youth ages 13-16. It aims to expose kids to emerging technologies and get them excited about technology as a hobby, passion, or even a career.

Get Online Nola founder, Wendy Dolan, will present Wordpress Blog Workshops, where girls will learn how to set up a free blog, write posts, insert images, and even embed videos of their favorite bands or TV shows. We will also teach girls basic HTML in order to show them how simple coding can be, and encourage these bright young women to pursue further education in computer technology.
